It’s official. Thanks to all our readers, contributors and mentors for making us the Murrindindi and surrounding district’s number one online news site by over 60,000 readers a month.
Kinglake Ranges News has had its best-ever month for online readership with average DAILY readership for January at 989 (AW Stats) whilst SimilarWeb shows 11,498 viewers compared to The Local Paper’s 814 views in 28 days to Wednesday, 23 January.
Kinglake Ranges News continues as Murrindindi districts’ number one news site with 96 per cent (Google Analytics) of the local audience in the last 28 days.
In the 28 days (to December 31) 5,600 individual unique readers visited Kinglake Ranges News. Just 523 unique visitors read The Local Paper online. “AWStats counts too much, while Google Analytics counts to little.”
Following critisim that Kinglake Ranges News was ‘making up statistics’ (incorrect) and that Google Anayltics and Similar Web statistical web site data is ‘inaccurate,’ despite major corporations and Government using their services we decided to use the same data anaylsis program, AWStats, as our competitor.
Yet again independent statistics show Kinglake Ranges News is still the one with 56 per cent of the local media audience in the last 28 days.
From the mountains to Melbourne, Kinglake Ranges News is Still The One.
