Severe Weather Warning as cold front approaches

The Bureau of Meteorology this morning issued a Severe Weather Warning for damaging and locally destructive winds for people in Central, Mallee, South West, North Central, Wimmera and parts of East Gippsland, Northern Country, North East and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.

Thunderstorms possible by 4pm

The Bureau Of Meteorolgy (BoM) predicts a gusty south-westerly change will hit Melbourne (CBD) around 3.30pm this afternoon. The change may make fires difficult to control and they may break containment lines.

Severe Weather Warning for Heavy Rainfall

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) this afternoon updated a Severe Weather Warning for Heavy Rainfall at 4:55pm for people in Central, South West, Northern Country, North Central, North East, Wimmera and parts of Mallee and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts. In Kinglake it’s currently 30.3c with humidity at 38%.
