Murrindindi Shire struggling to maintain over 600 kilometres of unsealed (gravel) roads.
Since revitalising last year the Kinglake Country Fair again kicks off tomorrow (Sunday 17 March) at 2980 Heidelberg-Kinglake Road from 10am to 5pm.
For the first time in twenty years the Kinglake Cricket Club’s Under 12s have made the Grand Final and will play for the Wayne Hicks Shield in the Kinglake v North Alphington Black match at Kinglake Memorial Reserve at 5pm Friday, 8 March and from 9am Sunday 10 March.
The Federal Circuit Court of Australia today dismissed Maurice Blackburn’s Black Saturday class action taxation dispute. There will be no further payment to class action participants.

5:30pm UPDATE: The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 5:20 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Belgrave, Camberwell, Caulfield, Frankston, Lang Lang, Melton and waters off Brighton beach. These thunderstorms are moving towards the southeast. They are forecast to affect Dandenong, Glen Waverley and Williamstown by 5:50 pm and KooWeeRup, Pakenham and South Pakenham by 6:20 pm.
