Kinglake on cue

Kinglake Pub, Kinglake.

Round three of the Combined Hotels Pool Competition (CHPC) summer-autumn season saw the Kinglake Pub team win two of three of the nights’ games.

Wayne Hicks and Leigh Dunscombe won the first doubles game, followed by Craig Stone and his partner Tammy Billings winning the second doubles game.

This left Kinglake at two games to the Royal Mail Hotel’s one with Joey and his partner ‘Necta’ of the Royal Mail Hotel team winning the third doubles game.

Followed by local councillor  Leigh Dunscombe facing a friend in playing the Royal Mail Hotel’s Mark “Tappers” Taplin in the first singles pool game of the evening.

Whilst Kinglake were leading the way and leading after winning the doubles section there were still four (of six) singles pool games to be completed.

CHPC pool competition results are available online at www.vicpool.com or on Vicpool’s Facebook page.

The Combined Hotels Pool Competition (CHPC) consists of the Flowerdale Hotel (Flowerdale), Royal Mail Hotel (Whittlesea), Kinglake Pub (Kinglake), Hunters Tryst (Beveridge), Royal Oak Hotel (Wallan),  who participate in both the summer-autumn and winter-spring CHPC competition who play of a Monday evening from 7:30pm.
