SEVERE WEATHER WARNING SUNDAY UPDATE

The Bureau of Meteorology this morning updated a SEVERE WEATHER WARNING for DAMAGING WINDS for people in Central, East Gippsland, South West, West and South Gippsland and parts of North Central and North East Forecast Districts at 5:05 am Sunday, March 18 2018.

At 9:29 pm Saturday, March 17 2018 the Bureau of Meteorology updated a SEVERE WEATHER WARNING for DAMAGING WINDS for people in Central, East Gippsland, South West, West and South Gippsland and parts of North Central, North East and Wimmera Forecast Districts.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a Severe Weather Warning at 4:43 p.m. for damaging winds for people in Central, East Gippsland, South West, West and South Gippsland and parts of North Central, North East and Wimmera Forecast Districts.

Atmospheric -often referred to as barometric- pressure has dropped rapidly in Kinglake and surrounds, with Kinglake currently at 999.5 hectopascals (hPa), down from 1004.5 hPa at 3pm.
