It’s time again for Kinglake Ranges ladies to prepare their best outfits, hats and shoes to get ready for Kinglake’s Annual ‘Ladies Oaks Day’ at the Kinglake Pub.
First started by publicans Sharon & Craig Lovick and supported by Ian Haysom, Leigh Dunscombe and Ashley Geelan, Oaks Day is now the Kinglake Ranges most successful local social event.
Oaks Day will be held on Thursday, November 9 from 11am at the Kinglake Pub, 28 Whittlesea-Kinglake Rd, Kinglake. Race day presenter DJ Misty Mountain, Ian Haysom will provide entertainment and race calls with sweeps on every race.
Sara Exton and Jenn Martin will be your hosts for the day.
Entry is $25 with a welcome glass of bubbles (or slushie) and a chance to win the door prize. Finger food provided.
There’s Fashions on the Field including ‘Best Hat’, ‘Best Outfit’ and ‘Best Shoes.’
For a gold coin donation, you can guess how many “Bras are in the Barrel” or “Tampons in the jar,” with all money raised going to the Olivia Newton-John Research Institute.
